− Cost to checkin couple hours early despite a clearly unfull hotel was £20 (unusual) Lovely breakfast at the Dragon inn around the corner is £5, it's £10-12 in the hotel. Lights didn't work fully in the bathroom

3.0Convenient location for the city centre and railway station. Prompt response to my complaints about poor cleaning and TV remote issues.
− Check-in seemed to be an inconvenience. TV remote needed new batteries. Dirty t-shirt left on top of wardrobe - so how clean was the room? A free drink at the bar wasn't sufficient compensation for the poor service and facilities. Breakfast limited. No obvious gluten-free alternatives.
