Convenient location and very nice hotel if you plan to ski at Palisade
8.0hotel is really nice. food quality is good, very nice to being able to do ski in skin out to palisade. probably can do better for providing more information during the check-in process.
Great family ski trip
10.0Great place to stay next to resort chair, ski to Palisades Tahoe and take gondola to Alpine Meadows. Onsite fine dining at Six Peaks, everyday dining at Sandy’s pub, fantastic breakfast buffet at Cascades, grab and go at Bearshine Market and excellent new pizza place, Left of Lift. Outdoor ski bar. Celebrated a 40th birthday with a superb custom made cake at the onsite bake house (order 48 hrs in advance). Beautiful gathering hall with bar. Kids activity room. Ice rink. Ski rentals and retail ski shop/clothing. All around great place to stay any season.
You will be disappointed
2.0Don’t expect it to be anywhere near a Category 8 resort. It was super basic and not luxurious at all. Rooms at Hyatt Place are fancier than these. Very disappointed
I am getting old and so is the hotel
6.0The location is great but the resort is getting very tired. For the price for a room I expect the room to be in better condition. The faucet leaked and the thermostat did not work, we had to leave a window open. There was an adjoining room and the doors in between had a large space and we heard the whining kid for hours. The location to the lift was great along with the shuttle bus to Squaw Village (I refuse to call it the new name).
Ideal for ski vacation
10.0It always feels like home when we are at Everline for skiing. I find the Village a bit frustrating with its limited parking, so Everline is a much better choice when it comes to picking a place to stay in Olympic Valley.
Ski Trip to Lake Tahoe
10.0We spent 5 days 6nt at Everline Resort in early February. We had a wonderful stay. The hotel is beautiful. It is in a gated community encompassing two buildings. The first is the lobby/ main building which is beautiful and all about first impressions. It gives off a modern wilderness lodge vibe. The second is the guest tower which is black glass along side the mountain. In between there are shops, ski rentals, and markets. There is a ice rink and heated pool/ jacuzzi. The rooms are large but seem a little dated (or not modern) compared to the rest of the hotel. I didnt mind but it is noticeable. We had a fireplace and kitchen with mountain ski views….incredible. The staff was wonderful and professional and went out of their way. The food is ok most people eat off property. There is a shuttle in front of the guest tower every 30min that takes to the village. It drops you off in front of the kids school (great if you have kids in lessons). There is ski in/out but off the resort chair that begins running at 9am. (So you cannot ski the kids to their lessons) Also the runs off Snow King are Blue/intermediate so if you are beginner or like greens you have to take the shuttle to the village. Overall we had a great time and would recommend the hotel.
