It was a nice cool down after a storm that knocked out the power in our area.

It is all right but not worth that kind of money.

The location of the breakfast was fine. The breakfast itself was questionable. The eggs looked terrible and the sausage wasn't much better. I stuck to the toast. The staff were super helpful. They performed brilliantly in a really tough situation.

− I understand the problem of staffing. However, it would be nice to know that during the whole stay our room would not be cleaned. For seniors, the price is a lot for no service. I have a fresh towel at home every day and it would have been great to have at least that.

I think we would try to find another place next time

A storm had gone through the night before and the Fairfield was the only hotel around that had power. We understand the lack of staffing for housekeepers but it would be nice to know that the room was not going to be cleaned for our entire stay. I have a fresh towel at home every day and expect one at a hotel. The amount of money that we paid for a small town was a lot for seniors. The breakfast was adequate. We only ate there twice. The second time the eggs were terrible looking. All of that said, the front desk staff could not have been kinder and more helpful. In a rough situation, they were excellent, keeping calm and professional. AT every turn they tried to answer all of our questions.

The location was clean and staff were kind.

− The noise was terrible. We were placed next to a family with many teenaged boys who loudly wandered around the halls and hotel throughout the day and into the night. I regularly heard them from my room even when the room’s AC and television were on. They were just kids being kids, but it did greatly reduce my enjoyment of my stay that there was not a more appropriate common area for them to hang out in like a patio or a game room.

I have stayed at this Fairfield Inn in Goshen, Indiana many times and have never complained about anything. But this time was one time I just had to complain. I spent over $200 for a king suite that you couldn’t see out the window (pictured below) I confronted the front desk lady about it and she said ohh it’s always like that! If this is the truth then the price is way too high. I only stayed here because my husband is in the hospital and the hotels were full! So what ever you do DON’T stay in room 213!!
