9.0we upgraded to a room, given forecast of extremely hot weather. everything was just lovely, peaceful location comfy clean rooms and food great
Yes I would definitely stay again but make sure I have transport home next time.
10.0The breakfast was really nice, I had a lovely cooked full english. I was a bit stressed as to how to get from the fox and hounds back home to Leeds as I didn't realize I wasn't getting a lift back this morning after my son's wedding yesterday. The gentleman who was on duty in the bar, not sure if he was the landlord but was amazing, friendly and tried to help me sort a taxi to Whitby for a bus home, nothing was too much trouble, so I'd like to say a big thank-you for his care.

1.0The location lovely, breakfast was ok,the rest of the stay/ room was disgusting!
− On arrival it took the a while to acknowledge us waiting as the barman served the local their drinks first. We were given 3 room keys and where pointed to the direction to the rooms.. the room when we opened there was a strange smell, the room itself was very small, dirty and bathroom was disgusting, the room was no where the standard that we expected after paying £150 per night for 2 nights on each of the 3 rooms, which cost in total £924. The evening meal was very disorganised, some arrived cold, small portions, and just placed on the table for everyone to help themselves . Wasn't worth what we all paid. Some staff work very hard while others looked like we were to big of a wedding party of around 20 that I don't think they could cope, I have emailed the fox and hounds asking for a refund and been ignored for over a week now!

Any bookings of 5 or more rooms must be confirmed with the accommodations, or they will not be accepted.
If a booking of 5 or more rooms is canceled or reduced less than 28 days before arrival, then a charge equal to the full booking amount will be payable.
