3.0− We stayed at the Warwick Denver for our anniversary. The hotel is in a great location, and the room itself was clean and comfortable. The staff was polite throughout our stay. The disappointment was with our reservation. I booked what was advertised on Booking.com as a King Room with a city view because the view was an important part of our anniversary. We arrived about two hours after check-in and were told our reserved room was no longer available. Instead, we were placed in a Premier Suite with a queen bed and no city view. The hotel later explained that the Premier Suite was considered a complimentary upgrade and that city views are based on availability. While I appreciate the upgraded room category, it didn’t provide the features that mattered most to us—the king bed and city view we expected based on our booking. Overall, it was a decent stay, but not receiving the accommodations we booked took away from our anniversary experience. Better communication about reservation changes before arrival would have made a big difference.
