10.0Amazing rooms! Ours had a pretty nice view through the admittedly small window. It's amazing to me that it is literally attached to the ruins of a historic castle. Didn't get a chance to try the breakfast, sadly. There's a Greta chippy around the corner, though. Helen is greater than great when it comes to hospitality.
− We came by rental car, but I imagine it's not the easiest place to reach using public transit.

10.0Unmatched value. Had early check in and late check out options included automatically with my booking, making a great value stay, a fantastic valued stay. Owner was very warming and professional. Great shower pressure and plenty of towels. Extras provided (tea/coffee/shampoos) that wouldn’t be expected in this pricing. Very comfortable king sized bed, and a decent TV.

Excellent value in a lovely location.
10.0The Castle Inn has rolling countryside behind and an historic building next door. The room was spacious, clean and comfortable, and the large bathroom had everything we needed. Sean, the proprietor, was very helpful and runs the lively pub downstairs very well. In summary, the Castle offers excellent accommodation at a great price.
