An excellent, welcoming and comfortable seaside stay
9.0The room has a superb view over the sea & Jubilee Gardens. The bed was very comfortable. We were greeted by balloons, a card and ‘Happy Birthday’ banners in the room as I had mentioned in my booking that it was a surprise birthday stay for my husband. Breakfast was great, generous and tasty, with good vegetarian choices.
− Maybe a small fridge in the room would be a nice touch. Signs by the external doorways telling bar guests not to smoke immediately below bedroom windows would be helpful.

Another great time in Beer
9.0Lovely location overlooking Beer beach, with a great garden area. All the staff are super friendly and helpful. We had a top floor room with great views. Bed comfy. We didn’t eat in the pub this time but from what we saw it looks like it’s still of a high standard. Overall a very enjoyable weekend to celebrate birthdays. The music in the garden on Saturday was a great bonus, that and the glorious weather!
− Whilst understanding you have no control over the weather it would have been great to have a fan in the room that doesn’t just blow hot air. Both our and our friends rooms had heaters rather than fans which made for it to be uncomfortably hot by night time. Also a little more attention to cleaning in particularly door handles and black finger marks on the doors (both main bedroom door and bathroom). The bath and basin could do with a good scrub to remove gunk from plug holes and around taps.
Beautiful location but little sleep due to bed.
