A great stay!
10.0My wife and I stayed for two nights, the room was spacious, comfortable, clean, warm and well appointed. Staff were very respectful and friendly and attended to all our needs. Very good full English breakfast was great value and set us up for the day. Right on the seafront with good views over the bay towards the Lake District, and there was no traffic noise or other disturbances. Great stay.
Unwelcome and rude bar staff
2.0Went down stairs in to Davy jones locker, and what an unwelcome atmosphere, got told by bar staff they dont like people coming from other pubs and causing atmosphere down stairs, never felt awkward and unwelcome at a pub in my life and regret buying my drink. Abdhul I think was the name of the man.
Good stay
8.0No problems with this hotel. The staff were great, cheery and helpful, good breakfast and clean rooms. Gets a thumbs up from us. Would definitely stay here again.
Weekend break
8.0Clean well appointed rooms, lovely friendly staff, great breakfast very competative prices. Great location close to the beach but far enough away from the noisy bars at night. Only negative point is the decor is a bit tired. Would recommend to friends.
Leaking ceiling - no apology whatsoever
2.0A scruffy hotel with out of date info in the rooms. Breakfast was included but apparently a full English is extra. My daughter woke up during the night to a leak from the ceiling falling directly on her feet in bed so ended up having to share a single bed with her mate as the room was so small there was nowhere to push the bed away from the leak. When I went to complain this morning I was told maintenance would look into it. I sent a message after we left and still have t had a response. Not ideal and I’d like a refund.
