Lovely villa too much noise

The villa itself was lovely and we have no complaints about the property. Unfortunately, our holiday was seriously affected by building works taking place next door. For the first three days we couldn't use the pool because it was constantly covered in dust. Throughout our stay there was continuous disruption from loud banging, power tools, and then days of a cement mixer droning from morning onwards. It made it impossible to relax and enjoy what should have been a peaceful villa holiday. What disappointed us most was the booking company's complete lack of interest in resolving the situation or acknowledging the impact it had on our holiday. We appreciate that construction work isn't always within their control, but how they respond to customers certainly is. We've been booking villas in this area for 24 years and have never experienced such poor customer service. This is the worst company we've booked through, not because of the villa itself, but because of the way they handled a genuine problem. Sadly, we won't be booking with them again.

Fabulous villa in a very nice peaceful location. Everything was perfect, the villa was very clean inside and outside, and the pool was perfect to! We will return to this villa.

Great holiday if you’re happy to spend it outside

The pool area and gardens were fabulous. Beautifully maintained , lots of different areas to sit/sunbathe, great outdoor shower ( we used this rather than the en-suite because that was so tiny). Totally private & the views were amazing . The property was really well situated, walking distance to a supermarket & bars.

− The bed! it rustled, creaked and was very uncomfortable. The en-suite shower was not really big enough for an adult ( approx 1 1/2 ft square ). The cupboards also felt a bit damp when we took our clothes out. The inside of the property is functional, spotlessly clean but very dated in comparison to outside. The kitchen needs updating. I found it odd that there were no ‘bits of useful stuff ‘ in the cupboards - like leftover washing up liquid, salt, sugar , oil, a bin bag. Most rental villas have some bits left & we had to buy everything but obviously weren’t going to use it up in a 2 week stay. Very wasteful to throw it away. Inside the property was a bit smelly too - but not sure if this was the septic tank so we reported it & a plumber was sent out to check it within the hour. The management company were really responsive & helpful with issues.
