My John Carver hotel stay was great
10.0The location of the property was close walking distance to the harbor. The hotel had an older feel to it but loved the character and charm of it
− They were in the process of remodeling so no restaurant at the time we stayed but they’re about a month from opening it

− The room was dirty, spilled coffee down the night stand, and dirty silverware behind the bed. The room also smelt so strong like cigarettes. We were also missing the tv remote.

5.0− THE HOTEL CHARGED AND EXTRA $10 BECAUSE RESERVATION WAS MADE THROUGH BOOKING.COM. PLEASE INVESTIGATE REASON FOR THIS AND REFUND. No wastebasket in bathroom. Place was more like an ordinary motel and not like what it's name implies
Not as relaxing as I had planned.
5.0The rooms were comfortable and there was good parking.
− The hot tub was not disabled or elderly compliant so I could not access it. In the first room the tv did not work and there was no one to come and fix it. We were moved to the second room. The next evening the roof over our room was leaking so we were moved to the third room. I was not offended any compensation for all of these problems. It was also difficult to get housekeeping. The restaurant was also closed due to renovations.

6.0This property is under construction and preset has some issues. This hotel is great for families who do not have older people or members with disabilities.
