Bien pero mejorable

La habitación estaba muy bien, muy bonita y lo que merece la pena sin duda de este crucero son las vistas. El personal es muy servicial y muy agradable, un 10/10 por esta parte. Las excursiones bien, sobre todo cuando vamos a Cat Ba en el barco de día.

− Pasamos un poco de hambre. Cogí este crucero por 2 noches y 3 días. Las comidas de almuerzo y cena son comida vietnamita, si no te gusta no hay otras opciones, no hay otro tipo de comida. Si es un crucero para extranjeros, creo que debería de haber otro tipo de comida un poco más variada. Hubo un día que no me gustaba nada de la comida. Los horarios de las comidas son muy apretados y pronto. El primer día en cuanto llegamos almorzamos sobre las 12am. La cena es a las 19:15 y no es buffet. Al día siguiente el desayuno fue a las 7:15 hasta las 8:00. Almuerzo en barco de día con la excursión a las 12:30. Y cena las 19 sin buffet solo los desayunos. Al día siguiente el desayuno era de 6:30 a 7:15h. Y luego te ponen un brunch para el check out que es la única vez que había un buffet decente.. a las 9am cuando estas lleno del desayuno. En general creo que el horario de las comidas y las comidas podrían mejorar muchísimo. Hacen todo muy apretadas las horas y no te da tiempo a relajarte un poco. Si pagas un todo incluido, y después del dineral que pagas, creo que mínimo el agua debería estar incluida en las comidas pero ni eso. Pagas cualquier cosa que consumas de bebidas en el barco. Y no es barato que digamos. La piscina es muy pequeña y nada moderna, para las 50 personas que caben en el barco solo hay 4 hamacas. Aún así apenas te da tiempo de disfrutarla. Por el resto, bien. No sé si repetiría, estuvo muy bien al igual que las excursiones pero hay aspectos importantes como la comida que creo que podría mejorar.

I had such a wonderful experience with Rosy Cruise in Ha Long Bay. This location attracts many tourists and there are a lot of cruise boats in the bay, however I really appreciated that Rosy Cruise anchored a little further out which made the experience feel calmer and more scenic. The journey out to the boat itself was beautiful and gave us time to properly take in the incredible landscape. Dee, who led the team, was a fantastic host with excellent English and a wonderful sense of humour. As someone who speaks a second language myself, I really appreciated how difficult it can be to communicate jokes and personality across languages, and he did this so naturally and warmly. From the moment we arrived onboard, the hospitality was exceptional. The lunch served on arrival was next level, the attention to detail, presentation, generosity and quality of the food genuinely exceeded my expectations. Kevin, who looked after me during the cruise, was also incredibly kind and attentive and really cared about making sure I was comfortable throughout the experience. I personally chose not to participate in many of the activities because I was simply happy to relax and enjoy the scenery. I’m very much a nature person and as a freediver I prefer photographing marine life rather than fishing, and I appreciated that there was absolutely no pressure to participate. Guests could choose to join activities or simply relax and enjoy the surroundings which I think is really important. The weather during my cruise was very overcast and rainy, but honestly I didn’t care at all because I was just so grateful to finally experience Ha Long Bay, somewhere I had always dreamed of visiting. Sleeping on the boat was such a unique experience and I loved waking during the night to electrical storms out across the bay while still feeling completely safe and cared for by the crew. I booked Rosy Cruise based on a recommendation and I’m so glad I did.

Ha Long Bay beautiful. Staff friendly and helpful. Meeting other guests. Kayak and Cat Ba Island. Massage on board very good.

− Noisy "honeymoon suite" room is directly below the external staircase leading to sundeck. Also tender is tied to rear of boat meaning there seems to be constant external noise. Feels like someone trying to crash into the room. Also to the rear of boat is where activities happen like swimming and diving. So if you want to relax on your private balcony forget it. My wife got sick after we got back from the day boat, diarrhea and vomiting. We only ate lunch on day boat and on cruise boat for breakfast only, therefore could only of picked up something here. Overall the extra money you pay for the slightly bigger room is not worth it. There are no nice little extras apart from rose petals and folded towels on the bed. The TV did not work same for other guest (not important). The sundeck has no deck chairs or shade from sun. So when it rains you have to sit in dinning area or room.
