A convenient place to stop near station, fan in room and windows opened as weather hit.
7.0Location, white linen, staff.
− No proper selection of continental breakfast. Only an apple for fruit.
Good night at the Narborough Arms
8.0We had booked for our family guests needing accomodation near to us. There was a good atmosphere and late night opening as the World Cup was on, with a late England match (we lost against Argentina). They had a comfortable room and a great full English breakfast. Staff were particularly helpful going the extra mile with pub access information regarding a local road closure. Many thanks to the lady who phoned us back the day before our guests drove up! X
Great experience would recommend to family and friends
8.0Service,room very good value for money
− All good?
Comfortable and Excellent Value for Money
9.0The staff were very helpful, providing us with an extra fan in the extremely hot weather- vital. The en-suite was good, particularly the walk-in shower. The view from the window was nothing special but that made no difference to us. Full English breakfasts were tasty (vegetarian sausages were perhaps on the dry side but it's hard to find a succulent veggie sausage!) All in all, we were very happy with our stay at The Narborough Arm
− We were happy with everything but if people are looking for a sleepy village inn then this is not what they would want! It is a very lively place (when we were there) and much larger than we imagined. Excellent value for money.
Comfortable and clean and friendly
9.0I stayed for just the Friday night and was very pleased with the room and the hospitality shown me by the mangeress who was very welcoming - I would stop there again with no worries although the music was loud but working like I do I managed a great sleep in a very comfortable bed, the sheets and towels were fresh and clean and I had a great shave and shower - I did take a time out to explain that the seal had gone in the sink and I am certain that was attended to as for the price I just thought it was £10 to strong as breakfast wasn't served until much later on and it wasn't included in the price but other than that I was very pleased and would stay again.
