Overall, a standard that I'd expect from this hotel group, which met my relatively modest needs well
8.0I needed somewhere to rest between a train journey and an onward flight, so didn't need many services. A comfy bed, room service and a quiet space with TV to distract me. Overall, I had a comfortable bed, and was able to relax peacefully before the next state of my journey. Thank you.
− I was a little disappointed in the room service food which was a tad on the dry side. I ordered spinach dip which was a cheesy-creamy sauce but could have done with more spinach and fewer dippy chips. I also had the Atlantic salmon which was tasty but definitely on the dry side although the flavour was good. I'd have liked a few more regular/English tea bags (only had one) and more than two small pots of milk. I also didn't realise that once I'd completed the check-out procedure I'd no longer have access to the TV. Had I known I wouldn't have checked out via online/TV 45 mins before leaving the room. Maybe a note to that effect might be useful for customers?
