Overcharged by more than 20% vs promised Booking.com rate
5.0Nice location and warm, friendly host
− I was charged over 20% more than the promised rate from Booking.com. Even though I paid with a foreign credit card and showed my passport, the 21% VAT was not refunded as it should have been. Neither the property or Booking.com have been helpful in resolving this issue. I feel the promised price was not honored and that I was unfairly overcharged. Also the beds were horribly uncomfortable.
