1st Time in Cabot; would return to motel.
10.0This was a (unexpectedly) nice stay in a motel in the business center of small town Cabot, Arkansas (pop. 28K). My wife and I had a 7 day stay about 1st July 2026. We were in a requested second story king bed room which was very clean. The room had a modest two person couch, and was undecorated (no paintings on wall) except for a good size TV (didn't use). Clean and functional, no signs of wear; the motel quickly grew on us. AC was great, and we were there in blistering 97F humid full sun weather all week long. Maid service was quick, good, we tipped multiple times. Internet worked. The pool was clean, very good, bath temp for our time there; lightly used for 6 of the 7 days we were there. We used the pool at ~sunset (closes at 10pm). The motel is walking distance (heat permitting) to 2 super markets (Krogers, Aldi) and a long walk to Home Depot. There's a Waffle House and (I think) another restaurant close. We were unfamiliar with Arkansas, but felt very comfortable walking around in the immediate motel area for a couple of hours after dark = safe feeling! This county is a 'dry county,' but across the street is a pub / sports bar which is clean, bright and friendly; kids welcome I think; go figure. The motel provided breakfast was hot waffles, sweetened dry cereal, yogurt, bagels, and cup of fruit. Minimal breakfast, but it worked OK. I do enjoy my coffee and chose to buy filters and ground coffee of my own (super market close by). We'd stay there again. Clean, central location, safe area, pool.
