The beautiful interiors, with rich colours, exquisite fabrics and elegant furnishings, create a warm and intimate atmosphere that feels more like a stylish private townhouse than a conventional hotel. Its character and attention to detail make it a particularly special place to stay. The location is excellent, making it easy to explore London while enjoying comfort and a touch of timeless English sophistication. I would happily stay here again.

7.0Ein uriges Hotel in sehr guter Lage mit unwahrscheinlichen zuvorkommend Personal.
− Wir haben einmal das Zimmer wechseln müssen, weil es so feucht und nach Schimmel roch. Zudem waren in beiden Zimmern die Betten mehr als durchgelegen. Auf den Hinweis am Frontdesk bestätigte man das Wissen der sehr alten Matratzen und meinte es sei bereits „in process“ für uns leider zu spät und im Allgemeinen etwas sehr spät, denn man sah bereits die Mulden. Zudem: unser Wasserhahn war leicht defekt, die Dusche tropfte, die extra Flasche Wasser fehlte, die Kaffeemaschine war nicht gereinigt worden und der Zimmerservice kam auch nicht.

10.0Great location, just across from the South Kensington tube station, so it’s easy to get anywhere. It had a very British feel to it. The suite was roomy and lovely. Most of all, every staff member was friendly, kind and welcoming. Over our 5 night stay we felt like we were “home”.
− Had to get used to the rumble of the trains running under the building but it didn’t take long for it to be like “white noise”.
