The shared area between cabins was fun for my kids & the lake was beautiful. The area seemed safe and parking was not an issue, plus there was easy access to the many Mackinac activities. We arrived to discover there were no sheets on beds and no towels. The listing says “towels provided” and does not mention bringing your own sheets. We called the owner who responded promptly, but stated only one hand towel was provided, and we could get sheets and bath towels for an added fee. Despite my explaining this was not what the listing stated, he made it clear I had very little choice. It was late, the nearest open store was a long drive. The cabin was dirty, cobwebs in corners, filthy windows, a piece of dried out disgusting bread between the cabinet and the wall. We also discovered the “cleaning protocol” on checkout included scrubbing the shower, toilet, fridge, counters and vacuuming. Perhaps this is the only cleaning the cabin receives between guests…. Also, there were 5 kayaks to use, but only 4 paddles and 2 paddle boats, but both broken. All in all one of the worst places we’ve stayed.

This was my first time staying in a cabin with family and the experience here was great. The cabin we stayed at was enough for 7 adults with two bedrooms and a loft area with 3 beds. Just one small bathroom which was accessible via both the bedrooms. Word of advice one of the bedrooms has the bed right against the bathroom wall so be prepared to hear the business of anyone using the bathroom. The cabins are right next to a beautiful lake which you can walk to and there are kayaks available. There's also a game/activity room with a TV and movies. We were the first guests of the season so the rest of the cabins were empty and we had the entire place to ourselves. MAKE SURE TO BRING YOUR OWN TOWELS, SHEETS AND PILLOW CASES. I didn't know that and didn't see it mentioned anywhere. Host will provide them if needed but at a cost. Blankets/covers are at the cabin but the other things are NOT. The host had to drop off fresh clean sets for us since we didn't bring any. Cabins are a short drive away from the ferries that take you to Mackinac Island.

Beautiful property on Paradise lake. Very clean. Kayaks, paddle boards, canoe provided. Close to Mackinac Island.

Great little cottage on the shore of Paradise lake. Perfect for a getaway if you just need to relax. Quiet and well maintained constant upkeep being done while we were there. Friendly staff and very helpful. Extremely close to both the Mackinaw bridge and city. We will be back to stay in the future.
