− Fire pits had to tell at the front desk to turn on. No knob they could only control. And they were slow about doing so!

Not a good start

Just arrived for a family vacation was planned 4 months prior. Arrived to hear that they had double booked my reserved room, so had to accept a lesser room. Not a good start so far - will see how the rest of the stay goes.

Staff was great, the ass manager in the front desk SHE WAS AMAZING

− The price is way too high for the kind of place , very normal resort, and the area of the beach was sooo dark , I think it was too expensive for the type of resort, you can stay in better places with better pools more amenities and better price. We walk out as soon we check in

Nice place, but I'm sure there's better. Unauthorized charges made to debit card with no explanation

I really liked the adults only pool and the property was aesthetically pleasing.

− Most of the staff we encountered were not friendly. However, my biggest reason for rating so poorly is that I was charged during a night audit for $449 that was not a part of incidentals or charges I made to the room, and I did not authorize for such a charge to be made on my card. They attempted a second time to charge my card again this time for $520 (unauthorized and thankfully my bank declined) and when I asked 3 different people at front desk about this charge, I never got an actual reason as to why this was done and was told that the money would be refunded 2-3 business days after check out. Which has yet to happen. I also advised them the card on file was not the one I would be checking out with and that my friend and I would be splitting the cost of the stay between us both on different cards and we were assured at check in and during the stay this would be ok. We finally ended up paying for our stay the night before check out so that another "night audit" charge would not be attempted. If this is something they are going to do, they need to be transparent with people, and also give a logical explanation as to what this is for. It never showed up on my receipt when we paid for the stay and I had to file a claim with my bank to dispute the $449 charge. There were also miscommunications about the shuttle service and customer service was just not on par. Very disappointed and will not be staying at any Sonesta Resorts again.
