The SPA is superb!
10.0My sister and I were booked into the Spa for a surprise treat from our husbands. I had a back massage and facial both done by Georgeta. She was so lovely putting us at ease from the outset. It was without doubt the best massage I have ever experienced and would highly recommend it. We were practically floating out of the spa by the end! She relieved so much tension in my back and my face felt so refreshed and glowing. Many thanks Georgeta!!
Wonderful hotel and special Spa experience
10.0This hotel is wonderful for families of any age group. Mine are teenagers, they are enjoying the pools, indoor and outdoor, and the water sports. The food caters for all tastes and is of a great quality. My son is coeliac and nothing is too much trouble which takes away usual worries that he can’t enjoy the food. The staff are all kind, helpful and welcoming, we have all felt comfortable and at home here. I have just enjoyed the best massage I have had at the Serenity spa, courtesy of Sita. She was so sweet and was just wonderful, I felt completely relaxed, thank you!!
A relaxing and enjoyable stay in a well-sized hotel with excellent service, good food, a peaceful atmosphere
10.0Overall impression: We spent five nights at the hotel and had an excellent experience overall. The hotel offers the comfort and facilities of a resort while remaining manageable in size, which made the stay feel relaxed, calm, and enjoyable rather than crowded or overwhelming. Positive points • Atmosphere and size: The hotel is not as large as the big resort-style properties, which is a real advantage. The pools and restaurants never felt overly busy, and the overall atmosphere was peaceful and pleasant. • Food and all-inclusive concept: The all-inclusive concept was very convenient. The buffet was varied, generous, and offered many options, including themed nights. The food was generally very tasty. • Staff and service: The staff were consistently helpful, smiling, welcoming, and professional, which added a lot to the positive experience. • Lobby and common areas: The lobby is spacious and pleasant, making it a nice place to sit for a coffee or drink. • Beach and water activities: Although the beach is small, it is quiet, enjoyable, and easy to access, with clear water and no rocks. Water activities are also available nearby, including jet skiing and other options that can be booked separately. • Location and promenade: One of the hotel’s strongest points is its direct access to the long Paphos promenade, which is perfect for daily walks, enjoying nearby restaurants, and watching the sunset. • Sunbed system: A major advantage is that guests can reserve their sunbeds for the entire stay, avoiding the usual early-morning “sunbed war.” The hotel was also flexible in offering alternatives when we wanted to change location. Peut mieux faire • Beach sunbeds: Guests should note that the sunbeds on the beach are managed by a separate provider and require an additional payment. • Evening entertainment: The shows could be improved. They seemed more focused on teenagers and adults, with a strong emphasis on English bands and music. A more diverse entertainment program, appealing to different age groups and tastes, would make the experience even better. Final comment: Overall, this was a very enjoyable stay and a hotel we would gladly recommend, especially for guests looking for a relaxing atmosphere, good food, friendly service, and a great location by the Paphos promenade.
Lovely family vacation
10.0We had a lovely stay at Olympic lagoon resorts, everything was amazing. Including our cleaner Daljeet who was super friendly and so accommodating, she was lovely with the kids too. Daljeet made sure we had everything we needed. We will definitely be retuning. Thankyou!
Fabulous holiday , can’t wait to return
10.0First time to Cyprus and Olympic Lagoon. Had a fabulous time . Everything we could wish for at an all inclusive resort . 5 Star experience . Staff were great especially Robert who waited on us in the various restaurants we visited.
More positives than negatives. Lovely staff.
8.0This was a family holiday with people aged from 80 to 13. The arrival was welcoming with a glass of lemonade and handled efficiently with cases taken to our rooms. Our room was lovely with many thoughtful touches such as the face cloths, unfortunately these disappeared every other day and needed us to call guest services to get new ones. The coffee machine for me was a must as was the request for twin beds. A call to housekeeping got the room reconfigured into two beds with two separate duvets. We had a sea and pool view. One of our other party had a sea view and car park view. They did not ask to move but really should have (as they liked their room.) The main restaurant was a buffet set up. Organised by Antonis - the front of house - he was charming and efficient and ensured that all 7 of us were seated at the same table for each meal. He and his team deserve a special mention. Breakfast had a wide choice with every type of food on offer including a separate menu for eggs royale, Benedict etc unfortunately the wait to order tea / coffee / OJ varied from day to day with a wait of up to 20 minutes on one morning plus there was no option for Buck’s Fizz which is something hotels with less stars tend to offer. Dinner at the main restaurant was good and varied although fish and seafood options such as a simple grilled fish or plain prawns were not an option. For the first few days queues were not long but as the hotel became busier the queues became very long and the organisation of the food stations needs a review. Wine was available but trying to acquire a refill was a challenge. We ate at three other restaurants on site: American Diner - excellent service, delicious food and plentiful wine. Captain’s Deck - typically authentic and yummy Greek dishes and liberal wine Seven Orchids - Asian / sushi food - wonderfully tasty and ample wine. Outside we were delighted to hear that the sunbeds would be allocated for the stay. No mad morning scramble - perfect….. in reality the maps to help you choose your spot were not accurate and it was not until the third move that we found beds and a chair which suited the entire age range. But the staff were super helpful and the plentiful supply of towels each day was impressive. Of the pools - all were very warm but the largest pool with the swim-up bar was so murky that one of our party couldn’t see the steps and slipped getting in. There were so many inflatables in the pool that some areas had nowhere to swim and the ball games made entire sections of the pools unusable. They need to adhere to their own rules. The swim-up bar was staffed by various staff - two of whom were happy, smiling and seemed to enjoy their job. (Natasha and Renato) The main challenge was, having negotiated the scrum to get to the bar, leaving the bar with your drink before it was knocked out of your hand by on of the twenty or so children being taught to swim in that area. This needs a review! The lounge complete with pianist was a very swish area to sit and enjoy an aperitif and later a digestif - unfortunately some feral children were allowed to run around in bare feet, screaming and shouting. Surely the staff ought to have asked the parents to exercise some control? Here we would like to mention Svetomeira whose attention to detail was commendable. The proximity to the beach and the promenade with a short walk to Paphos were both perfect. Our 13 year-old was looking forward to the ‘teens club’ but this catered 8+ so many children were not teenagers, the activities appeared not to be planned and in the evening there was no apparent supervision. (This was a concern as the room set aside was open to anyone). The water slides are suitable for primary age children but not a thrill-seeking teenager. Evening entertainment was of a great quality although the venue was really too small on the evenings when lots wanted to attend. In terms of accessibility there are some slopes which, even for an electric scooter, are quite steep but the lifts, width of corridors, space in the restaurant and disabled toilets were excellent. It has been hard to write this review because on the whole there were soooooo many positives but the negatives made us feel that this hotel aspires to be 5* but doesn’t measure up to other 5* hotels we have experienced.
