− Catastrophic experience at the Ivy Hotel Boston Common. During my stay, my bag was stolen or went missing inside the hotel. It contained extremely important personal documents, including my passport, residence permit, driver’s license, national ID card, bank card, and other personal belongings. This incident had very serious consequences for me. I faced major administrative and travel difficulties, had to contact the police and consulates, spent a significant amount of time and money replacing my documents, and experienced an enormous amount of stress. What is even more shocking is the way the hotel handled the situation afterward. Despite my repeated messages and follow-ups, I have not received any clear explanation about what happened to my bag. To this day, the hotel has still not confirmed that the CCTV footage was properly reviewed, nor have they provided any information about what the recordings showed. I have also received no clear confirmation that the footage was preserved or shared with the police. For such a serious incident involving a passport and residence permit, I expected at least a proper internal investigation, transparency, professionalism, and genuine support from the hotel. Instead, I have had to repeatedly contact the hotel without receiving a satisfactory response. Their lack of urgency, transparency, responsibility, and consideration has been completely unacceptable. I strongly advise travelers to avoid this hotel, especially anyone carrying important documents or valuable belongings. This was an extremely distressing experience, made even worse by the hotel’s completely inadequate handling of the incident.

Adequate. Not great, not awful, just small and basic

This location is one step above a hostel. I needed two rooms for two nights and due to World Cup everything in Boston was really expensive. For what it was… it was over priced. This is likely due to demand at the time of purchase.

Location

− Pillows are very thick. Asked for thinner ones and informed they are all the same they only have those. Even after pressing down pillow is 6 inches high. Also if you stay on the bottom floor vê warehouse it can be very noisy from guests in the small lobby.

Making due when you need a reasonably priced hotel around Boston Commons in a hurry!

It was convenient, quiet. clean and the only hotel under $200 in the heart of Boston .
