Great location and confortable old town apartment

The overall experience was disappointing, bad value for money.
4.0The location was good, except that you have to climb 85 steps to reach the apartment. The bathroom was recently renovated and in excellent condition.
− The building has a lot of humidity. There was no place to dry the beachwear and that caused a bad smell and difficulty in breathing. There was extra charge for cleaning. We only had one pair of towels for each person for a total of five days. The external door was not locked at night so anyone could access the building.

10.0Great location, everything is walkable but quiet at night, I never heard the neighbors. The stairs were doable even as I arrived to hot and humid Dubrovnik from cold and rainy Poland with boots and a hat, it was not terrible. 3 sets of windows allowed for lots of natural light and nice views of the mountain, AC was cold, water was hot (if needed) decent water pressure. The entryway smelled nice, like fresh laundry, newly renovated and clean unit but still had lots of character. I stayed on the top floor, the ceiling is low in some areas but I thought it was fun.
− I’m 5’7, the shower head came to about my shoulders, so difficult to shower but I made it work. Just something to keep in mind if you’re tall and you prefer a shower over bath. Thankfully I didn’t lose any keys but a keypad system would’ve been ideal for easier access.

− Moisture in the room. No natural light and quite noisy if you have the first room as located next to the entrance door.
Pleasent stay in heart if old town
7.0Spacious room in the heart of the old town. Owner was lovely and helpful.
− I didn't realise Dubrovnik Old Town was full of so many stairs and reaching this apartment took 85 steps, which was harder as I'm pregnant and travelling with my parents and had a 30kg suitcase. Would be fine for a weekend city break. Also could hear banging from neighbours.
