2.0Showed up for our stay but the hotel is completely closed until July 2025… nobody bothered to email or call us. In fact the week before we came we actually got a message that they were excited for our trip … literal locks on the door and a sign and the interior gutted
Needs a major overhaul
4.0The location of the hotel is amazing. Everything else about it is terrible. It’s extremely run down and it was very dirty. Our room had dirt and hair all over the floor. The hallways were scuffed and the doors had black fingerprints all over them. Many repairs need to be made. They charge a $28 parking fee for your car to remain in an insecure parking lot per day. It’s not safe to leave valuable there, or in your room. There were cockroaches in the hallways.

8.0We enjoyed our 1-night stay at The Plantation Resort. Staff was very nice and helpful. The pool was relaxing and the bar Manager, Shelly, poured delicious margaritas! Shelly was super sweet. We loved swimming with the manatees in Crystal River and we hope the staff is safe from the recent hurricane. This is an older property, but our room and bathroom was clean, had a mini-fridge, and we ate a delicious breakfast the next day on property.

8.0I didn't like the fact that i saw a charge on my bank card without knowing there is basically a hidden fee for Parking/Ammenities. I dont understand why i am being charged to park where im staying and then amenities. Thats definitely a first time having to pay those fees, like had i known i would not park or use pool. Only thing that would hinder me from coming back.

4.0Unfortunately this the photos made it look nice and new. It was the opposite. It was old and in need of a major update and renovation. When we checked in, our room was hot; the AC was running and back door was open. The rooms had dehumidifiers due to how old everything was and the ACs not running properly. The properly just didn’t look like the photos posted

4.0The property was run down, the bathroom was covered in mold and all the linens were old and the pillows were torn. The property was not what it used to be.
