4.0A basic but comfortable house in quiet location. it is in desperate need of regular maintenance and proper cleaning. On arrival we found toilet seat was broken, the BBQ was absolutely filthy along with the outdoor deck… which was covered in old bird dropping and new Easter wrapping papers and bottle tops, paper and plastic sliced bread sealers. The fridge was full of items ie. half jars of mayo, pickled onions, mustards etc….and freezer had fishing bait, frozen water and an open bag of. Various foodstuffs. it made us nauseous to think about putting ice in there! So when is the fridge cleaned out for paying guests? the hanging rod in one bedroom was broken and found on floor in wardrobe. the lockbox was so old an in need of some WD40 it was hard to close on departure. It could’ve been a lovely place to return to… if we thought it was clean and well maintained… what a shame!

Great place. Just need to make some adjustments to the water and rubbish situation. If it weren’t for that it would have
9.0The view and the house was cosy and comfortable. Plenty of places to walk. The fireplace was great.
− Having to boil water to drink. There should be drinking water provided. Also being asked to take our rubbish to the dump on the other side of town. It felt like we were camping in a national park not a house that we paid good money to stay in.
Great place to stay
9.0The house was very clean and comfortable. Bedrooms great and all a good size as were bathrooms. Kitchen had everything you needed. Good view high up on hill over looking the beach. Short walk to a lovely beach for walking.
− The BBQ was quite rusted out on one of the burners so we did not feel comfortable using it. No WiFi.
