Fantastic location, spacious rooms, great for families
10.0Adina surprised us! We found Adina via the direct app and booked with a great rate. We were travelling with friends and the staff accommodated our booking request to have rooms close to one another, it was fabulous. Our 2 and 3 bedroom apartments were super spacious. Small details like great block out blinds, fresh towels always available at the pool and a good quality iron were appreciated small but important details. This hotel is in a fantastic location close to Hardware Lane, the main CBD shopping malls and public transport. Highly recommend
Quick stay
10.0The penthouse suite was amazing with great views. The staff were amazing. Perfect location and easy parking. Very clean and fairly priced. We will be back for a longer stay next time
Not great
4.0I’m going to start with, I am not the person that usually complains but I felt the need write an honest review of our stay at this hotel. I booked this hotel going by the good reviews I saw online. The two bedroom apartment we checked into was nothing like the images online. The images online appeared much nicer kept, our room was run down, had stained carpets, The glassware in the cupboards had sticky residue on them and overall was just not a nice feeling room. The air conditioning system made noises all through the night as the thermostat kicked in and a Strange smell in the room. Positively, the bathrooms were nicer than the bedroom and the washing machine and dryer was helpful for us traveling with small kids. About 9am one morning housekeeping let themselves into our room without knocking, she opened the door and said housekeeping. I think I was completely shocked there was no knock and didn’t give us a chance to open the door and say no thank you, a complete invasion of our privacy. We used the pool area which had food all over the floor and a big rip in the ceiling above the pool, not a nice space to sit in and enjoy. The general feel of the whole hotel in the lobby, lifts, hallways is cold. Would I stay here again, no.
Friendly. Value. Embrace.
6.0This is a well-located good apartment hotel. It could easily be so much better. Communication efficiency issues within the hotel prevent it walking it’s talk. Reception staff are constantly and respectfully in damage control, trying to explain away multiple lapses in service delivery. It must be so frustrating for the good people who are trying to do their best. We had a lovely spacious, clean, tidy apartment on an upper floor overlooking the city for 3 nights. Ours had a small balcony that was standing room only. The view was spectacular but there was no balcony furniture. We froze on our first night. The thermostat had been adjusted down. There are no blankets in the cupboard. We asked for blankets. It was written down. None came. We asked again. They came. We asked for the Chamomile tea to be replenished. None came. Our apartment was meant to be serviced. Fresh towels were delivered but the bed was left unmade twice. We asked that the bed be made and it was. We were happy with a ‘Green Clean’! The TV didn’t work. All stations were “unsupported video format”. A staff member came to fix it. He could ‘get’ three stations. He arranged for a maintenance technician to fix it the next day. Nothing had changed. Reception explained that no technician visited and that they were experiencing issues with signal density compatibility and that they were attending to it. Visiting past reviews suggests that it’s been like this for some considerable time. Just be up front from the start. TV service for us is not a game changer, but it became another irritation. We were out most of the time. The space is so good. The bedroom is spacious. For us the bed was too firm, but tastes vary. The bathroom is spacious and very functional. Shower pressured varied but it was generally good. The bathroom floor tiles are textured and not slippery. There’s so much to like about this Adina apartment hotel. The heated pool looked great. The gym was fine. The staff were very good, but they need to talk with each other and know what’s going on at their hotel. They need to own it. Systems technology upgrades in large buildings can be challenging but they need to happen quicker, much quicker. Existing TVs, while once possibly cutting edge, are now seriously dated. New screens need to cope with a high density signal and be at least streaming compatible. We like the Adina brand. It’s our third stay here. It offers a great location, spacious apartment living, 24/7 reception and a secure, safe and quiet environment. A litany of relatively minor recurring issues impacted our stay. There is though, work to be done.
Comfortable. Great Location. Great Value
10.0We loved the penthouse apartment. Well priced and so comfortable, everything we needed. Location was amazing!!! We walked everywhere, close enough to enjoy a lot of what Melbourne has to offer. I highly recommend one of the best accomadations we have stayed at. Ohhh and amazing pool!!!
− Our room was not ready for our check in, so we did have to wait, but only 15 minutes or so.
Perfect accommodation
10.0Love the room, the cleanness, the staff, & the location at the heart of city that close to everywhere
