10.0This was the highlight of all the stays when walking the Two Moors Way with my mum last week. Unfortunately a member of staff was taken ill (wishing them a full recovery!) but the team made sure we could let ourselves in to our room, Jake behind the bar and other staff (and the village!) that were covering looked after us so well and went out of their way to make sure we had a comfortable stay and everything we needed. I had the best pint of Exmoor Gold I've ever tasted, the fish and chips were dreamy and sorbet delicious, so was very happy! Breakfast was also top class. We really enjoyed our evening in the bar and the locals were very lovely and welcoming. I WILL be back for another stay, or just a session :D
− Forgot to mention at the time but the shower seemed to need turning on and off via the isolation switch in the bedroom, it didn't work on the electric shower unit. Otherwise it was a perfect stay.
Perfect stay for 1 night stop
10.0This was a PERFECT stop on our bike trip. It was peaceful and quite area. The food at the pub downstairs was exceptional the service was fantastic, the room was beautiful, bathroom STUNNING! Overall customer service was really good. If we ever travel to that side of UK will definitely stop by again! Thank you

10.0Breakfast very good indeed. Very friendly staff. Lovely old-fashioned feel to the pub. Telly didn't work, but that didn't matter. We didn't go to Exmoor to watch telly!!
