8.0If it wasn’t for Jerry the bell hop, this review would be much lower. He was very kind and helpful when we arrived late with our family. The breakfast buffet was very good. Our room was not very clean. Lots of other people’s hair and a strange spot in the tub. Needless to say we did not use the shower. Decent price.
Crazy lobby and no towels. Hopefully just an off night?
4.0My family stayed one Saturday night at this Embassy Suites. We had been on the road for 10-11 hours when we arrived at ~8pm. I had pre-paid for parking, so I drove around the block 3 times looking for the parking lot and didn't find it. Finally, my husband said to just do valet. So unfortunately, we ended up paying for both. We did finally see the sign for parking later. It was dark and not well lit at all. So beware! As soon as we entered the lobby, we were stunned and I wanted to leave. There were tons of kids of all ages running around. I'm talking 30-40 kids at least. And several adults 'supervising' and drinking. It was a complete mad house. I should have taken a video because it was insane. I get that there was obviously some sort of event or something going on, and I often drink, so I'm not against that...but there are other guests who are not there to party and the staff should have done more to keep it under control. We were exhausted and just wanted to relax, but there were kids playing on the elevators and running down the halls until at least 10:30. In the morning, I went to take a shower and there were zero bath towels in our bathroom. I tried texting the front desk, got no reply. I went down to the front desk and they were out of clean towels so she messaged housekeeping. It took an hour and a half to get towels. Also, the bottles for conditioner and body wash were completely empty in the shower. They obviously hadn't been checked in awhile. We left way later that morning than anticipated and were late meeting family in North Carolina. I have stayed at several Hiltons and this is the first one I was severely disappointed in.
