A Heartwarming Stay by the Beach in Batanes
10.0Mabuhay! I stayed at Dive Batanes Lodge for three nights last March, and it truly made my Batanes trip more memorable. The check-in process was smooth, and what made the experience even more special was meeting the owners themselves—they’re the ones running the reception! They’re a friendly couple who made me feel welcome from the moment I arrived. The lodge has a pool, which is rare and refreshing in this quiet part of the country, and it’s just a few steps from the beach. Waking up to the sound of the waves and having a dip either in the sea or the pool—what more can you ask for? They also serve a good breakfast every morning—simple, comforting, and just what you need to start your island day. The room amenities were on point: clean, comfy bed, good water pressure, and everything felt thoughtfully put together. If you’re heading to Batanes and want a stay that feels both local and personal, I highly recommend this place. It’s not flashy, but it’s honest, warm, and exactly the kind of space that lets you soak in the magic of the island.
