Nice hotel with large rooms

Mixed Experience
6.0The room was clean and comfortable and the breakfast fine. Most of the front desk sfaff were helpful and friendly. However, there were 2 that come to mind that were not as impressive as the others. The common areas need attention, especially the elevators. They made hard stops and the doors on one didn't always open. Thankfully, except for one time, I was outside of the elevator when that happened. I did mention the elevator to the front desk staff. The lobby does not make a good first impression, and one night there appeared to be a non-guest just hanging around outside the front of the hotel and that had a negative impact on my feeling safe there. This was not as positive an experience as my stays at other Hyatt Place Hotels.
Unforgettable stay in a bad way. Dingy and not a well kept facility in the room and common areas.
1.0Staff was pleasant and resolve the issues that I had.
− Room was not clean: pet hair on floor and table surfaces, lots of stains on carpet and bottom of bed, sheets were smelly, room was very humid and muggy even with AC on. Pull out sofa bed was broken (they did fix right away). Another family member had a room on the same floor and it was marginally better regarding climate and cleanliness.
