Scam and useless
2.0The price on Priceline is different from the link they send you to. So frustrating ugh!!!!
You get what you pay for.
6.0We booked 3 nights for a family of four. We paid for the “newly renovated room” (Resort Tower; 5203) and it was far from renovated. Not super clean either. 🥲
The Legend is Dead
2.0Horrible Christmas experience. Vegas is newsworthy in domestic and foreign markets for a precipitous drop in demand. Excaliber's response? Parking blocks away from the hotel, mediocre yet expensive rooms, charges for fridges, surly staff, antagonistic security, paper thin walls, but hey, dufus, you're on the Strip. Be grateful. Never, ever again. There are a million places in the world better than this hotel and Vegas. Bye Bugsy.
Real customer service experience.
10.0This review us strictly about 1 awesome individual. JORDAN at the Take a break desk. She took the time to help me with show options. A printout of entertainment to choose from. No pressure just a friendly chat to educate you about availability. She is an absolute pleasure to meet and deal with. A staff member that greets you with a smile and means it. Real customer service still exists with her. Thank you Jordan for making an old man smile and being reminded that some good people are still out there.
Decent hotel within a walk to the conference hotel
6.0Price (I think) was right, location was decent. I needed to be able to walk (25 mins or less) to the Cosmopolitan Hotel for a conference. What I did not like was that my room was not cleaned for a 3 day stay. The cleaning person dropped extra towels off on my arrival and I never saw anyone again. My room's view overlooked the roof of the complex. The casino food court was ok. I did not go back again. The pedestrian bridge to the New York New York was good. There is a tram that is part of the MGM Resorts hotel system, but I did not use it.
Viva Las Vegas
8.0We stayed in the Royal Tower and the rooms were a good size but probably in need of an update particularly the shower. I understand the other tower has already had upgrades so assuming it may be a work in progress. The bed was really comfortable. The hotel itself had plenty of facilities we ate in the sports bar and Dicks Last Resort both server typical American food and the service was good and friendly. We used the pool area each day and pre-booked reserved beds and an umbrella in the Royal Pool which is adults only. The ambiance and service was excellent and made for relaxing days before venturing out at a night time. We went to the Tournament of Kings show. The production was excellent but probably suited a younger audience better. All in all a great base for exploring Las Vegas. My only real gripe is the tipping culture in Vegas as a whole. We are usually fairly generous with our tips for service given but it seems everyone wants a tip for doing very little. Best example I can give was I retrieved 2 small bottles of still water, took them to the cash register, the lady entered the amount in to the register and then I was prompted to leave a tip. I feel I had done most of the work here so should have received the tip myself…..? ;-)
