Disappointing hotel
6.03 night stay here from Monday 22/6. Decent location with 5 min walk to St Catherine street. Our room was adequate, however bathroom was small and shower was in the bath. Beds were clean and comfy. Carpet looked like it had been down since hotel was built. Floorboards creaked throughout the room, and the room above also suffered the same fate, going by the noise when people walked about. Electrics worked but looked like an upgrade and rewire were overdue. Personally I found the breakfast poor, but if you like continental breakfast’s you’ll be ok. We also had to ask for tables to be cleaned and more cups on a few occasions. No lifts so be prepared to carry your luggage to your room. There is a porter available, but you may have to wait a while. We found most of the staff ok, however the woman who checked us in was anything but welcoming. She had great pleasure in telling us check in wasn’t until 15:00, but checked and our room was available. However the couple checking in immediately in front of us, were not given the check in time, but told straight away their room was available. If you like creaky, old authentic French style this is your hotel.

10.0Great location, typical friendly hotel. What makes it really great is the great customer service, from valet to front desk. Marina is simply amazing while juggling multitask and helping several guests, she manages to help and assist with total satisfaction. Other were very helpful as well. Marina was simply outstanding. Staff of the Chateau Versailles makes your stay really enjoyable From valet, housekeeping to front desk, simply great teams.

7.0Great location close to metro station. Cute breakfast room. Comfortable bed. Great room, but noisy.
− Our room was next to the kitchen and very noisy starting early in the morning. Earplugs help. Breakfast was very basic.
