About this hotel
A charming hotel in the heart of Athens' Psiri district, renovated in 2023 to preserve the building's cultural heritage (marble and mosaic floors, solid wooden doors, high ceilings, marble staircase) while adding modern features. 25 rooms with a mixed decor of vintage metal and new furniture. Five-minute walk from Monastiraki Metro Station and about 15 minutes on foot from the Acropolis. Owned and operated by the Armatas family.

10.0I stayed at this hotel for 5 days, then went away and then back for one night, then away again and then back for another night. The staff was so helpful, kind and knowledgeable. They all spoke perfect English. I loved the location. I stayed at this hotel initially because someone who organized part of our trip had selected it for her one night layover in Athens. But I ended up loving it and would definitely stay there again. As a solo 68 year old female, I trusted the reviews that then neighborhood was safe despite graffiti, my taxi Driver from airport who dropped me off at 9:30 pm, verified that the neighborhood is perfectly fine—he said just avoid omemia square at night. I did feel perfectly safe walking around at night. They have an arrangement with a nearby hotel for breakfast for a small fee. I opted not to do because I’d rather pick my own place to experience different types of restaurants.
− The top sheet was not put on the bed any of the 3 times I checked in—-felt that was a bit “basic.”
