− After booking with booking.com subsequently receiving an email from the hotel advising an automatically 10%service accommodation charge was to be applied , similarly in the bar, restaurant and breakfast . I didn’t agree with this, preferring to tip where , when and whom I choose. Further a£100 charge per night applied to credit card for “room charges “ No charges were made and a month on still waiting for this to be credited . After calling the hotel 5 times asking to speak to a manager, ( after being assured from the front desk ) no phone call received!
