Pretty but too crowded with non hotel guests
6.0Beautifully located and very pretty but service is very impersonal and the hotel is way too busy/over run at sun set and packed at lunch. A good base for Chatham but not relaxing/as premium as the price point suggests.

8.0The hotel is in a beautiful setting . The staff were friendly and attentive . The courtesy car into Chatham at night was a great service. We were disappointed in the location of our cottage. It was right in front of the cocktail / pizza bar , the noise level and intrusion of people taking photos of the view right outside our door/ patio area every night spoilt our stay . That said, the bar manager Matt did apologise and gave us his contact details if it got too much. We did raise our concerns with hotel reception. Although we couldn’t be moved , the hotel did waver our extra charges incurred during our stay . The cottage was a bit tired , could do with some maintenance. The blind was broken in the bedroom, the sofa bed needs cleaning and a better mattress . You could feel every spring! Not great for a five star hotel. Despite this, it’s a lovely hotel and would stay again but not in the same cottage.
Room too small
4.0For the price the rooms and bathroom are no bigger than a closet . We could not even get two people into the bathroom . We also had to request two fans , ac not helpful . Great location , staff friendly but rooms smelled moldy and need an update . Also bar needs to stay open later , closed too early .

10.0It's such an incredibly beautiful property, particularly with the hydrangeas in bloom! We stayed in a spa suite which had it's own sauna and steam shower!

8.0The location is fabulous. The atmosphere and the staff were outstanding! Our cottage gave us lots of space! Sadly, it poured RAIN! NOT CHATHAM'S FAULT! but hard to constantly need umbrellas .....HARD.
