PROS: Cleanliness; Sufficient kichen supplies for meal preparation; Major appliances clean and in good working order (the microwave and fridge looked almost new); Plenty of towels; Comfortable bed. CONS: The plumbing! Both the bathroom sink and tub had a fine, steady stream of water that would not shut off. The toilet handle needed to be held down as it slowly flushed. But my biggest issue was on day #2 of my 3-day stay. There was no hot water for my morning shower. I called the office and spoke to 'B'. She asked how long I let the water run, if the water heater had kicked in and asked me to flip the breaker. It was determined someone needed to come and make a repair. I said I was going to skip a shower and go hiking for the day - the plumber was welcome to come in while I was gone. Upon my return to the condo at 7:30pm, in great need of a shower...no hot water! I called again and left a message on a machine. No call back. I then put pots of water on the stove to heat so I could get washed up. I have received no phone call, no email, no incentive to book with Mountaintop Realty in the future, no apology. This was my first visit to Blackwater Falls SP and I loved it. I wil return next fall, but will not rent anything from Mountaintop Realty again.
