Good location for a few days in the area
9.0Very spacious room with large comfortable bed, good ensuite, decent sized tv. Breakfast cooked nicely and there were fruit salad, cereal, croissant available too. Dining/breakfast room has a view of the golf area. Plenty of parking. Shower had proper water, not artificially softened. It's not far to walk back to Thorpness boating lake (worth exploring) etc, and probably 40min along the beach to Aldeburgh.
− View from our room was just the carpark,. The room could have accommodated chairs in addition to the sofa. Shower pressure varied, although the temperature stayed fairly constant. Stairs down to our room, I think you could ask for a room on the ground level to avoid that. No air-con, probably not often a problem.

Receptionist were nice but would have been nice if they actually told us where our room was when giving us the key. As
