After being scammed by big name hotel we were in a jam to find something last minute. I am a smoker so I'm a little particular about rooms, {never understood how places allow pets that have dander you can't completely remove but not smoking, a little febreze and it's gone} ended up sucking it up and got a non-smoking room that was easy access to outside. Found The Castle inn thanks to Google Maps, read the reviews from a few different sites and gave them a call. Rachel the nice gal I spoke to asked single or double, I told her we didn't care, she booked us, 3 nights $70.00 a night, we were good to go. The gentleman that checked us in was friendly and personable, he asked double or king so I chose King, he ran my card and provided me a receipt. We arrived to our room to find a very clean EVERYTHING! The sheets were freshly washed, the bathroom was spotless too. The mattress was firm but that's the way I like it.. There was a mini fridge and microwave also. I honestly can't say enough about how pleased we were with our room. There were plenty of choices of food or drink establishments in either direction also. I DEFINITELY highly recommend for a room and shower stay!😁 Great, Great no frills motel with a side of smiles from our hosts!

Exterior of building was worn, room was ok and what would be expected at this price point. There were few amenities…no hair dryer, no Kleenex. Wi-Fi worked easily.

Stay Away! Creepy, dirty, bad customer service

I called this hotel twice about rates, and let them know I had two small dogs. I arrive, the owner/manager is not wearing a mask, as required by NYS law, in a small office. My dogs must stay outside. People are obviously living here: a guy is fixing a bike, there are kids' toys and household possessions outside of the units. I go to see a room; there's a man in a wheelchair in one doorway, another single older man in another. The room smells of some sort of cleaner, and is in the back corner of the lot, which doesn't even feel safe (I'm a single female). Then I go back to the office, and he tells me it's going to cost $20 more than what he told me on the phone. Dump. I'm so glad I left. And wear a mask in that claustrophobic office!

Dirty, non smoking room reaked of cigarette odor so badly that my clothes stunk after leaving. Rude staff, over priced. Avoid at all costs. Towels were tiny and stained. No cups. No soap. No ice. 2 tiny pillows on a king bed is ridiculous.

The price was right but you get what you pay for. The room was very clean and overall comfortable. However, there were only 2 pillows for a queen size bed and the room had no cups or glasses. I probably could have gone to the office and requested these items but felt that they should have been provided. There was a microwave and refrigerator which were nice conveniences.
