Good location. Bad housekeeping and maintenance.
5.0I liked the location. It's walking distance to Royal Gorge Railroad and just a short drive to the Royal Gorge Bridge and park.
− The cleanliness of the bedding, towels, and room were unacceptable. There was an open water bottle left in the room. The carpet was not vacuumed. The pillows and sheets were stained with food. They did not looked washed. Bad housekeeping in my opinion. The ceilings could use some scrubbing or paint as they were black and dusty. The remote and light switches felt unsanitary. A bathroom tile kept falling apart. The sink was broken and could use nails to be repaired. Maintenance repairs in general. There was no continental breakfast or muffins as described by staff when checking in. The dining area was locked. Only coffee was available in the lobby.

7.0Nicht vom Äußeren des Gebäudes abschrecken lassen! Das Zimmer mit Kingsize Bett war völlig ok. Ausreichend groß, bequemes Bett, Fenster zum Öffnen. Lage perfekt für den Royal Gorge Train, quasi gegenüber der Straße. In Laufnähe Restaurants und Läden. Das Personal war freundlich.
− "Frühstück" bestand nur aus Kaffee und Muffins!

1.0Did not end up staying. Drove another hr+ to another hotel.
− Did not feel like a safe location. Hotel room door didn't properly work. Asked for another room. Had same issues with that one. Decided not to stay since we didn't feel safe to stay there with our younger kids.
It was bit overpriced for the room quality
5.0Staff were very nice to us , greeted us as we walked in and out of the door, always had cheerful face
− Bathroom vanity was broken , poor ventilation in the bathroom
