Run Away!
2.0This was one of the worst places I've ever been. The room was filthy. The tub didn't drain. There was a huge hole in the bathroom door. The comforter didn't cover the bed. The bedside lamp didn't work. The foundation of the bed was loosely wrapped in plastic sheeting; I don't know the significance of that. I took a shower and by the time I went to bed a few minutes later, the bottom of my feet were black from the dirt on the carpet. This place was truly awful. Please don't get a room here. If we hadn't been so exhausted from travel and being at UMC all day for a family members surgery we would have found something else. The worst place ever.
Don't stop the car in the parking lot.
2.0On July 15th 2016, my family and I had booked this hotel for a one night stay. Since it was part of choice hotel we felt confident it would work for the one night. We pulled up to find hookers asking for services, pimps supplying drugs and drunks passed out in the parking lot (see pictures). I could smell alcohol and weed the instant I opened my car door. I had already paid for the room so, I went to the front desk to request my money back. The man told me no so, I informed him I would call the police. He called around until the manger's wife answered the phone where she asked me not to call the police and she would refund me the money in the morning. I refused to leave without my money knowing that all the illegal actives would be gone by morning. She finally woke her husband up who talked the front desk clerk into refunding me my money.
Keep driving!
2.0My husband staying here because he is working out of town. It is cheap enough for what he needs. BUT, there is a lot of suspicious activity that happens in a nightly basis. The cops have been there the last 3 nights due to fights breaking out in the parking lot. Avoid this place, not worth the safety you give up for the price.
Filthy and has bed bugs
2.0Me and my wife stayed here because we came down to visit some family/friends. It was a busy weekend and most places were booked so this was our last resort. We went in and it didn't seem too bad at first then we started to notice filth and the furniture needed work. The bathrooms were nasty. We then went to sleep and the bed wasn't that bad but the next morning my wife woke up with bed bug bites. I was very disappointed. Never again.
Affordable !

STAY AWAY....amazingly filthy!!!!!
2.0As a frequent traveler, I have had the misfortune of staying in some very poor hotels. This hotel in Lubbock was disgusting!!!! Stains all over the bedding and walls. Everything had dust or dirt on it. The bathtub, I would say leaked, it didn't turn off. Water ran out of it 24/7. Even the bathroom light had a mirror with four light bulbs over it, ONELY ONE WORKED!!! The doors had stains and filth on them. The room chair had a nasty black stain on it that look like it was from oil. It was absolutely gross. The hotel staff, early in the morning while cleaning rooms, yell and talk to each other. Waking everybody up. The can't comprehend that many are still sleeping at 8am on a saturday and continue to talk across the parking lot. TV reception was sketchy at best and the outdoor facing room door was about 1/16 inch space on the bottom to the outside. The ownweship very obviously doesn't care. You must stay away from this horrible place.
