A hidden gem
10.0Fascinating medieval coaching inn, the building itself was full of history, it was a privilege to stay there. All staff were incredibly professional and took great care of us. Lovely room, very well maintained and contained everything we needed. Bountiful and generous breakfasts. Highly recommend your hotel. Thank-you for an excellent experience.

6.0The location in the centre of Woodstock is great, and it is just a ten minute walk to Blenheim Palace
− We had room 8. The rear windows were sealed preventing them from being opened at all. The front windows had silly limiters on them, such that they would only open by 5 cm. The fridge pumped out a huge amount of heat, hence the room was hot and airless. Breakfast? The only thing that was cooked fresh were the eggs. Everything else had been cooked and left out to dry out. Very disappointing.

− Hotel and restaurant very very tired, sticky with a slightly dirty feel. Food was good but decor needs to be looked at. I had a grubby grey pillow which needed changing and overall this hotel needs attention
