8.0De lodge werd geleid door een heel vriendelijke familie. We werden al bij aankomst op de parkeerplaats opgehaald door Willis jr. en met de boot naar de lodge gebracht. Willis jr en Willis sr verzorgden allerlei tours, waaronder een avond naar de schildpadden die eieren legden op het strand naast de lodge. Willis jr. verzorgde een heel leuke boottoer in de ochtend. Het ontbijt en het diner waren uitstekend.
− De huisjes van de lodge zijn basic, maar staan wel op een prachtig terrein en verzorgde tuin waar veel te zien is.

− Le restaurant, pas bien organisé et nourriture avec peu de goût, peu d’attention. Embêtant car on doit sinon prendre le bateau pour aller souper au village, pas pratique.

Un endroit idéal coupé du monde moderne
10.0Comment se sentir loin du monde technologique et prendre enfin le temps de se ressourcer ? Il suffit de réserver au All Rankins Lodge, chez Willis et sa famille. À une heure de lancha du parking où vous laissez votre voiture, vous vous retrouvez coupés du monde, dans un endroit tout simplement idyllique. Willis vous guide jusqu’à la plage pour assister à la ponte des tortues vertes, un moment rare et inoubliable. Avec son fils, il vous fait découvrir la faune et la flore le long de la rivière, dans une atmosphère paisible et authentique. Les lodges sont sommaires mais offrent tout le confort nécessaire. La piscine, propre et agréable, devient un vrai bonheur après une journée d’aventure. La cuisine traditionnelle, servie au bord de la rivière, est un régal. Une expérience en mode Robinson, coupée du monde, qui m’a profondément marqué. J’ai adoré
− Les excursions sont relativement chères comme dans tout le Costa Rica. Comptez 10$/p pour le transport en Lancha, 40$ pour la ponte des tortues, 50$/p pour l’observation de la nature. Les repas restent raisonnables compte tenu du cadre et de la fraîcheur de la cuisine.
