Great location and full of character
10.0Stayed for my Son's University graduation. Hotel is full of character and the sea view room was lovely and the air-conditioning was appreciated so much! Reception staff were friendly and efficient and stored luggage before we could check in. Bar was great and breakfast was lovely. Overall a fantastic stay and would definitely visit again.
Stunning Event Space
10.0Organised a two-day training course at the Mercure Brighton Seafront Hotel in Jul 2026. The Meeting & Sales Executive, Kaytie, was outstanding. The event was organised without issues, and communication leading up to the two days was timely and detailed. The team were flexible too, when we needed to make last minute changes to delegate numbers and dietary needs. And the event space is stunning, with picturesque views thanks to the hotel's coastal location. Highly recommend.
Damp and Dirty
4.0This hotel looks stunning as you walk into the main foyer area and public spaces but behind the grand entrance the place is damp & dirty. As a family we have stayed in Accor group hotels over 30 nights in different locations over an annual period and this really was the most unpleasant stay from a cleanliness and hygiene perspective. In room - Mould on ceiling, in the AC unit, all over the tiles in shower even at high level. Damp patches on ceiling The smell of damp throughout the corridors and in our room. Carpet was filthy along with skirting boards and coffee set up. I have reviewed directly to hotel feedback as well as if the hotel sorted the damp and mould it would be a great hotel.

10.0Good size room in hotel in ideal location on the sea front. Buffet Breakfast was very good with friendly helpful staff :) We will be back!

5.0De locatie aan de kust is prima.
− De algehele staat van het gebouw, oud, sleets, veel kapot of lelijk. De kamers aan de achterkant ( evenveel als aan de voorkant?) kijken uit op lelijkheid. Het ontbijt is ook matig, veel vieze Engelse boel en weinig kwaliteit.
