Poor customer service from Hilton.

We requested an early check in. Told no problem. When we arrived at 12:15, we were told there was a storm the night before and apparently every room was booked and none were available for early check in. Ok. I asked if everyone checked out at the same time and not one room was ready. We were told no. We took a seat. Then , left for an hour. Returned at 1:00…..Dane story. No room ready. We had a 2:00 appointment and needed to refresh,…. We used the restroom and left at 1:35. No sooner got in the car and got a text for a room. Manager watched us walk out!!!! We were going to be late so we left. Cancelled the room. Asked for a refund. Told no by manager and corporate. Never had an issue with Hilton and do understand there is no guarantee for early check in but they were rude. Offered no solution. The furniture in the lounge was dirty. Never had an experience like this from Hilton.

This was one of the worst HGI hotels I have been to as a lifetime diamond member which is sad because the brand is usually very good and the staff here was very nice - with the exception of housekeeping. Room was filthy. There was a foreign substance on the table by the bed, hairs and dirt everywhere. Room had cracks and stains over the walls. Couch was so old there was no vision left. It needed a total refurb. Housekeeping walked in on us while sleeping and did not apologize. The alarm went off at 6 am - not Hiltons fault here but probably a previous guest. It was a really bad hotel which was a mistake we made as there are so many good hotels in the area. Front desk very friendly.

Easy to get everywhere. Friendly staff.

− Bathroom was used and not cleaned. Bedding was dirty. We needed to request a new room. Manager was defensive when our concerns were expressed.

Obviously, they don’t want us back again. I will avoid the chain.

The parking lot was nice

− We are on a 10 day trip staying in a new hotel every night. This was the worst that I’ve ever stayed in. The inside of the hotel is old and worn. Carpets may be clean, but they are old. Our bed look like somebody has slept in it prior to our arrival. No port to plug in my cell phone. Bedding was worn complementary bottles of water were two dollars each. Breakfast was included, but at the cost of $10 each toilet was extremely low, and we had to struggle to get the water tap on in the sink. Hinge on the door was 18 inches in length. Gave the impression somebody had tried to break him. Not comforting. Staff was friendly, but there’s not much they could do.
