Rustige ligging aan aangenaam strand

Mooi en aangenaam strand. Eten is goed. Pannenkoeken en yoghurt bij ontbijt, stir fried rice met calamares en roti vonden wij een aanrader. Jetski (met banaan en donut) op het strand. Comfortabele bedden.

− De reden van deze lage score heeft vnl te maken met de prijs (eur 170 pn voor 3 personen incl ontbijt) die we betaalden in verhouding met het comfort van de badkamer. Badkamer was enorm warm, geen warm water en er was geen douchekop (enkel pijp waaruit waaruit water stroomde). Kranen van lavabo erg verouderd. Geen bergplaats voor toiletgerief. De accomodatie gaf een onverzorgde eerste indruk bij aankomst (rommelige parking). Toastbrood bij ontbijt was niet getoast en daardoor niet zo smakelijk.

Wow wow wow! Moon Isle Beach Bungalow is truly a slice of paradise. I stayed at Moon Isle Beach Bungalow with my mum in the sea view room and we had the most incredible stay. The room was very beautiful and clean with good air-conditioning that kept it cool for our entire stay. The view of the sea and beach from the room was amazing and the atmosphere at the hotel was perfect for a calm and relaxed vacation. Amanda was a very kind and considerate host. She sorted out trips for us whale watching and to Pigeon Island which were very good value and very well organised. Amanda also checked up on us throughout our stay to ensure we had everything we needed and that everything was perfect for us. Umesh was also very kind and the food at the restaurant was the best we had in Sri Lanka! The seafood was incredible and fresh and very reasonably priced and the atmosphere at the restaurant was excellent with good music, tables right next to the sea and beautiful lighting from the fairy lights. It was without a doubt the best restaurant in the area! The rest of the staff were also incredible. Everyone was very kind and would go out of their way to ensure that our stay was the best possible. The location is also excellent, Pigeon Island is a short boat trip away for snorkelling where you can see turtles, reef sharks and coral. The beach and sea are beautiful and well looked after and the atmosphere is just right for a relaxing, beachy holiday. Overall I would recommend Moon Isle Beach Bungalow to everyone!! The atmosphere, staff and location really make this place perfect and it really is a slice of paradise.

Nous avions réservé la cabane qui était dans le sable face à la mer. Et nous ne regrettons pas. Nous étions bien installées et nous nous faisions bercer par le bruit des vagues. (Sommeil léger s'abstenir 😂). Le personnel est vraiment gentil. Amanda sait bien recevoir et s'occuper de ses hôtes. Une jolie attention à la fin du séjour : une bouteille de vin blance. La plage est vraiment bien et le fait de pouvoir profiter des transats....au top. Nous avons fait deux excursions depuis l'hôtel : dauphins et snorkeling et c'était parfait Le restaurant est vraiment bon. Nous avons déjeuné et dîné tous les jours.

The best place on the East Coast.

This is some of the best accommodation we have ever stayed in. It's perfectly located right on the beach and has the best restaurant in the area. You really don't need to leave as this place has everything you need. They arranged a snorkeling trip to pigeon island for us and on the other days we relaxed on the sun beds with amazing cocktails and delicious seafood. The evening dinner atmosphere is the best we experienced in Sri Lanka, you can tell the owners really care about attention to detail. Thank you both! We had such a special time.

Just great! This was our second trip to Mandy's place, and it was every bit as wonderful as before.

The house is very charming and by the beach. The rooms are tastefully done - and the food is just too good - the restaurant was a big addition from when we had stayed around 6 years ago. And Mandy keeps popping up to keep checking if everything is ok from the fruit juice at breakfast to the seafood platter at dinner, to the hot water in the bathroom. The Gazebo and dining tables by the beach have their own charm. We ate well, slept well and enjoyed the place! We will keep returning!
