.Lovely location in the forest with nearby lake to swim in. Lively centre with lots to Chilean families enjoying the lake and nearby restaurants and cafes - you'll need cash though as cards don't often work. Food at the main centre was good and staff were friendly but they need more clarity with directions and actual accommodation location and nearby facilities.

− There was no breakfast provision in our lodge. Facilities available in the main centre but needed car to reach it. It was somewhat chaotic reception and directions to our lodge were not clear and there was no one there to let us in or greet us.

The location is beautiful and the lodge itself is wonderful. It feels cosy, rustic and comfortable. Being equipped with a kitchen gives you the freedom to prepare your own food and have your own schedule which is ideal when travelling with children. The area around the lodge was quiet and peaceful, but close enough to the village that it wasn't isolated. We really had a wonderful time and will definitely be returning.

− In several aspects it felt like this lodge has been somewhat forgotten and is treated as an afterthought by the main Huilo Huilo hotel complex. Firstly it is not made clear to guests that check-in must be made at the main hotel which is a few kilometres away. And more often than not, there is no member of staff around at the lodge to explain this. We had it explained to us by another family when we arrived, and subsequently had to explain it to 2 other families who arrived during our stay. There is a reception area, bar, and what looks like a cafe/restaurant within the lodge, but none of these areas were staffed at any point during our 5 day stay, and it feels a little abandoned. Secondly, while the lodge itself and its facilities were excellent, there were several small details that exacerbated this feeling of it being somewhat forgotten. Upon arrival the fridge was not working, and while this was fixed the next day, we had brought food that required refrigerating that had to be left out overnight. One of the lamps in the bedrooms has a connection issue within the switch and it turns off at the slightest movement and could present a fire hazard. There were a few nails sticking out in places where they could easily snag on clothes or scrape your skin as you brush past. The furniture in the living room area is damaged, worn, and stained. There are no kitchen knives for food preparation and the handles on the frying pans were falling off (I had to tighten them with the screwdriver on my penknife). Finally when we arrived we were told that being part of the Hotel Huilo Huilo property, guests at Club Huillin had access to all the amenities of the main hotel during their stay. We planned to use the pool area on our final day and called again to check that this was allowed and were told once again that this was fine.

Personal amable y preocupado. El refugio familiar esta en un lugar hermoso. Vista maravillosa a la desembocadura del lago. El depto es comodo y limpio. No obstante, le hace falta mantencion. Litera se cayo sobre uno de los niños. Las ventanas abrian con dificultad. Desgaste general. La cocina le falta equipamiento ( hervidor, microondas). Le faltan servicios, al menos desayuno y bar.
