− very busy noisy road outside, but the location was known beforehand, so there is no reason to complain about it

A very comfortable, clean and friendly hotel with extremely helpful staff.
9.0The breakfast was first class and on our return each night we dined in the hotel from their full and varied menu. A wonderful choice for both meals.

8.0The hotel and staff were very good and always helpfull. The breakfast was very good too.
− The location was literally in the middle of Axminster. The hotel is surrounded on all 4 sides by very busy roads. The noise was bad for most of the nights we stayed. The rooms were very hot, a fan was provided, it was in the middle of a heat wave though.
