− Unfortunately, Malibu Beach Inn was a very disappointing experience. The hotel may have had a great location and charm at some point in the past, but today it gives a very tired impression. The rooms feel old, worn out, and poorly maintained. They are also quite noisy, which makes it difficult to relax properly. The most unpleasant part was the condition of the room itself. The floor felt sticky, the furniture looked dirty, and the sofa had so many stains that sitting on it required more courage than checking in. This is not the kind of atmosphere you expect from a hotel in this price category — or, frankly, from any hotel. The surrounding area is also quite sad at the moment, especially after the fires, so the location no longer compensates for the poor condition of the property. Whether you are traveling alone, with your family, with your wife, or with your husband, I honestly would not recommend staying here until the hotel renovates the rooms — or at least gives them a very serious deep cleaning. At the moment, the overall impression is not “Malibu dream,” but rather “Malibu, please let me leave.”
