8.0A pleasant stopover on the way north. From the "private" reception to the somewhat hidden cabins, I would book it again.

− The bathroom shower curtain could be floor length, water got everywhere on the floor.

7.0Owner was very nice. Cabin was clean. No AC (but probably as advertised) but there was a fan. Plenty of free parking. Easy drive from Talkeetna and close to the main highway between Anchorage and Denali.
− Bathroom was strange with a shower that had no pan and spilled water all over the bathroom floor. Plenty of nice towels, though. No desk area. Small stools only so we had to bring in outside chairs to sit on and use the stools as desks. Beds were extremely uncomfortable and sagged in the middle. Not many room options in the area so probably as good an option as any.
Cache cabins stay
4.0The location was about 13 miles from where I wanted to be, in the middle of nowhere.
− This location was WAY OVERPRICED for what I paid. Thousands of mosquitoes flying around and both beds had bed bugs. Hardly any options to eat breakfast around as well. The price was charged to my credit card and reconciled after the first day. Property was generally run down.

8.0This was a break in our journey south, and Talkeetna Alaskan Lodge cancelled our booking at the last minute due to some technical issue.
