The location was good for a last minute night over due to college changes from Covid. Location is a bit older but still comfortable

Disrepair is one thing, but dirtiness is another. Unvacuumed carpet, dirt & bugs in window sills, shower drain didn't work- still 3 inches of water in tub 12 hours later. No coffee maker or fridge in room or "lobby" a/c so noisy we had to shut it off at night to sleep. The mgr is very nice and polite, but the property is so rundown and room so dirty, that I recommend paying twice the price to stay somewhere else.

It was clean, quiet, and quite spacious. My daughter and I found the beds to be quite comfortable. Water pressure in the shower was great! The owners were very friendly and helpful.

The property was a smelly mess! Feces were in the toilet, the bath tub was painted and the paint was chipping, the few rooms that appeared to be rented out were to creatures that lived there. It was scary and terrible that I couldn’t even stay there. They charged my card for the few days and would not return the money. I’m a traveling nurse and the sudden inconvenience of trying to find another safe place to stay late at night was a bit overwhelming.

The Dunkirk Motel is conveniently located, the price is economical, the rooms are spacious and immaculately clean, and are equipped with fridge, microwave, office space, and flat-screen TV, and parking is available at your door. No breakfast, no coffee machine in the room, but there is a Tim Horton's right sown the street. The hostess is friendly, thoughtful, and helpful. To be honest, the property could use some updating, but for a quick overnight in Fredonia, (the campus is 5 minutes away) it was comfortable, clean, and more than adequate!

Took a Chance...

Traveling late in an area we had not traveled before...took a chance and dropped in. Front door was locked but had a telephone number to call... VERY nice manager finally came to the door....85 dollars! We took it... it was "clean" .. two beds... television...microwave and refrigerator... bathroom did not have an electrical plug in it...soap and shampoo were small and in little packets....towels were threadbare and bath mat was so threadbare you could see through it...hot water was non-existent...warm water was sporadic .... took meds for sleep and tried not to worry about any creepy crawly bugs....wish I had kept driving...didn't know there was a Clarion right down the road ...(my smart phone had died and so I couldn't Google anything...just had my husband's flip phone to make the call to get into the motel...)...
