10.0Friendly, welcoming hosts. Made us feel at home immediately and welcomed us like family and friends. Highly recommend for comfort, location & relaxing experience. Great location, not too far off 2 major roads, easy access into Mahone bay. Hosts very knowledgeable and informative about the area and what to see. Highly recommended for visiting South shore area. Beautiful, comfortable, quiet and peaceful with fantastic hosts
10.0Our stay at this beautifully, renovated farmhouse was exceptional. Located just off the main road, it offered a serene atmosphere. The spacious room was impeccable and comfortable , with a large, roomy bathroom. The grounds were beautifully maintained, showcasing a high level of attention to detail. The peaceful location allowed for a restful night’s sleep, and the fresh air from the windows was a lovely bonus. Each morning, a delicious breakfast featuring fresh coffee, granola, and yogurt was provided. The property’s proximity to Lunenburg and Mahone Bay made it an ideal base. A short walk took us to the river, where chairs and a dock offered scenic views. Our hosts, Frauke and Mike, were helpful, friendly and made our stay enjoyable. Charlie, their dog, was a friendly and charming companion. Frauke’s recommendations for local restaurants and dining spots were extremely helpful. We highly recommend this farmhouse if you are visiting Nova Scotia’s beautiful south shore

− Everything was so wonderful, the only minor issue was we could hear other guests but it didn’t detract from our stay.

10.0We loved our stay in this wonderful lodge on a beautiful rural property, conveniently close to Mahone Bay. Very friendly, helpful host, and comfortable nicely decorated rooms. We highly recommend and would love to return one day.
