Pixar Place stay was perfect. Such cute theming, room was immaculate and the stay was spot on with the Disney friendliness and customer service you expect. The pool restaurant, Small Bytes, was delicious with some of the best staff! Super friendly and helpful. I loved the theming and all of the Disney touches of some of our favorite characters. Highlights: Joe from Soul playing piano, meeting Bing Bong (love this!!!), friendly desk staff during pin trading, Pixar mini golf (this was temporary I think, but a lot of fun) and attention to detail such as it was raining and they had attendants at the door with a table full of towels. The same stay time period, we did a split stay with Grand Californian and they did not do this... I would absolutely stay at this resort again!

Pros Super close to parks Currently has the best entrance for hotel guests to California Adventure- I’ve heard this is going away in 2026. I liked this entrance better than the Grand Californian one. Fun decor Characters in the lobby Fireworks viewing from pool /rec area My family enjoyed the pin trading Friendly staff Cons Pool area is small and closes early- no swimming after 8 pm Hotel activities such as a drawing class are offered only once a week Elevators are hard to get during busy times The air conditioning doesn’t work well when you’re sleeping This was our first time staying here, but we have stayed at both the other on site hotels. I enjoyed this hotel and would stay here again. If the onsite early entry goes away, I will stay close by at other hotels which I’ve also enjoyed.

Brilliantly themed hotel in great location for the parks

Stayed four nights in Pixar Place while visiting Disney California Adventure Park and Disneyland Park. The hotel is clean, modern, and has beautiful Pixar theming everywhere, including gorgeous pictures on the walls. Check-in was swift and easy and staff were very helpful. We had a family room with two double beds and a sofabed which was perfect. The bathroom is compact but modern and clean, with Disney products available to use. The beds had a really firm mattress which was incredibly comfortable. As a Disney resort guest you get early access to the parks (park varies by day) and you can access DCA via the neighbouring Californian Hotel, or DLP via Downtown Disney. I've read reviews that comment on the lifts, but we didn't ever have to wait more than a few minutes. There was often a member of staff there to assist guests on the ground floor. We used the pool one morning and found it very pleasant. It isn't huge, but there is room for children to swim, plenty of loungers, and a splash area with cool water slide. Poolside service is also available via the cafe located just outside. This is a great hotel and we would definitely return - highly recommended!

Room was ok Checking in the front desk attendant was rude I took my nephews due to my mothers death trying to cheer them up as well they just graduated and the front desk women was rude and dissmissive 😭

Fun for ages 77 to 6yrs and in between.

Just returned from Pixar hotel last night after a three night stay with my son and two grandchildren.(6 and 17 years) We had a great time. The hotel was lovely and the staff was very accommodating. We had two meals in the Maple Cafe and we all thought the food was great. It worked me (77 yrs) a 6 and 17 year old. Something for everyone. We enjoyed the graphics around the hotel and had a great view of the fireworks. It's was a short walk to both parks. Would love to go again.
